Central Jakarta Continues to Intensify PSN

To suppress dengue fever case, Central Jakarta Administration keeps intensifying program of anti-mosquito campaign (PSN) in residential areas. 

We'll continue to hold prevention and socialization to the public, especially in sub-districts that have high dengue case

"I want regional heads and puskesmas to be more active to do prevention. It must be able to reach the people houses," said Mangara Pardede, Mayor of Central Jakarta, Wednesday (10/4).

Dengue Case in C. Jakarta Decreasing Drastically

According to him, it also affects the assessment towards urban village and sub-district. "In addition to providing a red placard in the executive meeting, the sub-district that has high dengue case every month will be given red sticker in the office," he stated.

Central Jakarta Health Sub-dept. has noted that 107 cases have been occurred along January-September 2017. In details, a number of sub-districts that have high case are Kemayoran (33 cases), Menteng (17 cases), Johar Baru (15 cases), Cempaka Putih (13 cases), Sawah Besar (9 cases), Tanah Abang and Gambir (8 cases) and Senen (4 cases).

"We'll continue to hold prevention and socialization to the public, especially in sub-districts that have high dengue case," uttered Yudhita Endah Prihmaningtyas, Head of Central Jakarta Health Department.
